For data transfers to Canada, an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
4) Cookies
To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, i.e., small text files that are stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted after you close your browser (so-called "session cookies"), while others remain on your device for longer and allow page settings to be saved (so-called "persistent cookies"). In the latter case, you can find the storage period in the overview of your web browser's cookie settings.
If personal data is also processed by individual cookies we use, processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR either for the performance of the contract, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR if consent has been given, or in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the website visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them, or exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general.

5.3 WhatsApp Business
You have the option of contacting us via the messaging service WhatsApp of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. For this purpose, we use the so-called "Business version" of WhatsApp.
If you contact us via WhatsApp in connection with a specific transaction (for example, an order you have placed), we store and use the mobile phone number you use on WhatsApp and – if provided – your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to process and respond to your request. On the basis of the same legal basis, we may ask you via WhatsApp to provide further data (order number, customer number, address or email address) in order to be able to assign your request to a specific transaction.
If you use our WhatsApp contact for general inquiries (for example, about our range of services, availability or our website), we store and use the mobile phone number you use on WhatsApp and – if provided – your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing the requested information efficiently and promptly.
Your data is only ever used to respond to your request via WhatsApp. It is not passed on to third parties.
Please note that WhatsApp Business gains access to the address book of the mobile device we use for this purpose and automatically transfers phone numbers stored in the address book to a server of the parent company Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. To operate our WhatsApp Business account, we use a mobile device whose address book only stores the WhatsApp contact details of users who have also contacted us via WhatsApp.
This ensures that every person whose WhatsApp contact details are stored in our address book has already consented, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, to the transfer of their WhatsApp phone number from the address books of their chat contacts by accepting the WhatsApp Terms of Service when first using the app on their device. A transfer of data of users who do not use WhatsApp and/or have not contacted us via WhatsApp is therefore excluded.
For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by WhatsApp, as well as your related rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to WhatsApp's privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/?eea=1#privacy-policy
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that protects our website visitors' data and prohibits disclosure to third parties.

5.4 When you contact us (e.g., via the contact form or by email), personal data is processed solely for the purpose of handling and responding to your request and only to the extent necessary for this.
The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your inquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved and provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent this.
6) Data Processing When Opening a Customer Account
In accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, personal data will continue to be collected and processed to the extent necessary in each case if you provide it to us when opening a customer account. You can find out which data is required to open an account from the input mask of the corresponding form on our website.
You can delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the controller's address given above. After your customer account has been deleted, your data will be deleted, provided that all contracts concluded via it have been fully processed, no statutory retention periods prevent this and we have no continuing legitimate interest in further storage.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. In doing so, we store your IP address registered by your internet service provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your email address at a later date. After unsubscribing from the newsletter, your email address may be stored in a so-called blocklist and compared against recipient lists of future newsletters in order to technically prevent newsletters requiring consent from being sent to you again. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in avoiding unwanted advertising mailings in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
7.2 Sending the email newsletter to existing customers
If you have provided us with your email address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers by email for goods or services from our range that are similar to those already purchased. Pursuant to Section 7(3) of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG), we do not need to obtain separate consent from you for this. In this respect, data processing is carried out solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalized direct marketing in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, we will not send you any emails.
You are entitled to object to the use of your email address for the aforementioned advertising purpose at any time with effect for the future by notifying the controller named at the beginning. You will only incur transmission costs according to the basic rates for this. Subject to your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, the provider also carries out a statistical performance analysis of email campaigns using web beacons or tracking pixels in the emails sent, which can measure open rates and specific interactions with the content of the newsletter. Device information (e.g., time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system) is also collected and analyzed, but not combined with other data sets.
You can revoke your consent to email tracking at any time with effect for the future.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that protects our website visitors' data and prohibits disclosure to third parties.

9) Online Marketing
Our own affiliate program
In connection with the product presentations on our website, we operate our own affiliate program, within the framework of which we provide interested third-party website operators with partner links to place on their websites that lead to our offers. Cookies are used for the affiliate program, which are generally set on the partner site after clicking on a corresponding partner link and for which we are therefore not responsible under data protection law. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device in order to trace the origin of transactions (e.g., "sales leads") generated via such links. Among other things, we can recognize that you clicked on the partner link and were redirected to our website. This information is required to process payments between us and the affiliate partners. If the information also contains personal data, the processing described is based on our legitimate financial interest in processing commission payments in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If you would like to block the analysis of user behavior via cookies, you can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them, or exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general.
10) Web Analytics Services
Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), which enables an analysis of your use of our website.
By default, when you visit the website, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies, which are stored on your device as small text modules and collect certain information. This information also includes your IP address, which, however, is shortened by Google by the last digits in order to rule out direct personal identification.
The information is transferred to Google servers and processed further there. Transfers to Google LLC, based in the USA, are also possible.
Google uses the information collected on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide further services related to website and internet use. The shortened IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data. The data collected through the use of Google Analytics 4 is stored for a period of two months and then deleted.
All of the processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies on the device used, only takes place if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Without your consent, Google Analytics 4 will not be used during your visit to the website. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of revocation, please deactivate this service via the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.
Further legal information on Google Analytics 4 can be found at https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/, https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de and at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Demographics
If the special "demographics" function is activated within Google Analytics 4, it can be used to compile statistics that provide information about the age, gender and interests of website visitors. This is done by analyzing advertising and information from third-party providers. This makes it possible to identify target groups for marketing activities. However, the data collected cannot be attributed to any specific person and is deleted after being stored for a period of two months.
Google Signals
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, Google Signals can be used on this website to generate cross-device reports. If you have activated personalized ads and linked your devices to your Google account, Google can, subject to your consent to the use of Google Analytics in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, analyze your usage behavior across devices and create database models, including on cross-device conversions. We do not receive any personal data from Google, only statistics. 11) Retargeting/Remarketing and Conversion Tracking
11.1 Meta Pixel with advanced matching
Within our online offering, we use the "Meta Pixel" service of the following provider in advanced matching mode: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland ("Meta")
If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook or Instagram, the URL of our linked page is extended by a parameter using "Meta Pixel". This URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser after the redirect via a cookie set by our linked page itself.
On the one hand, this enables Meta to determine the visitors to our online offering as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called "ads"). Accordingly, we use the service to display the Facebook and/or Instagram ads placed by us only to users who have shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g., interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to Meta (so-called "Custom Audiences").
On the other hand, the "Meta Pixel" can be used to track whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an advertisement and which actions they take there (so-called "conversion tracking").
In addition to the "Meta Pixel", which transmits data to Meta via your browser, the "Meta Conversions API" may be used. If it is used, information about certain actions on our website (so-called "events", e.g., page views, adding products to the cart, initiating checkout or completing an order) is transmitted via an interface not via your browser, but directly from our server to Meta's servers. This serves to make the measurement of the success of our advertisements more reliable, for example if browser-side transmission does not take place or is incomplete due to technical restrictions. In particular, the following data may be transmitted to Meta as part of the "Meta Conversions API": type and time of the event, URL accessed, information on ordered products and their value, your IP address, information on your browser and device (user agent) and the identifiers stored in the Meta cookies.
In order to better identify users whose data we have received in the context of business or business-like relationships as part of the statistical evaluation, we use the advanced matching function as part of conversion tracking. For this purpose, we also transmit customer data (above all email addresses and phone numbers, but also names and addresses) electronically to Meta via the "Meta Pixel" and, if used, the "Meta Conversions API". Meta does not gain access to plain-text data, as the information is converted into an unreadable character string using a hashing procedure before or during transmission. The information converted in this way can then only be used by Meta to match it to existing Meta accounts set up by the data subjects. This enables user interactions to be tracked across all services and devices linked to the respective Meta account.
To avoid the same information being recorded twice by the "Meta Pixel" and the "Meta Conversions API", each event is assigned an identifier that Meta uses to merge the transmissions.
All transmitted data is stored and processed by Meta, so that it can be assigned to the respective user profile and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta's Data Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data may enable Meta and its partners to place advertisements on and off Facebook.
All of the processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies to read information on the device used and the server-side transmission of data via the "Meta Conversions API", is only carried out if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website. After revocation, no more data will be transmitted to Meta via the "Meta Conversions API" either.
We are jointly responsible with Meta (Art. 26 GDPR) for the collection of data via the "Meta Pixel" and the "Meta Conversions API" and its transmission to Meta. For this purpose, we have concluded a joint controllership agreement with Meta, the content of which you can view at https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum.
For the analysis of the data, the matching of contact data transmitted to Meta, its assignment to predefined events and the creation of measurement and analysis reports, however, Meta acts as our processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR and is obligated to protect the data of our website visitors and customers in accordance with the data processing agreement at https://facebook.com/legal/terms/dataprocessing.
The information generated by Meta is usually transferred to a Meta server and stored there; in this context, it may also be transferred to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
11.2 Google Ads conversion tracking
This website uses the online advertising program "Google Ads" and, within the framework of Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").
We use Google Ads to draw attention to our offers on external websites with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google AdWords). In relation to the data of the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. Our aim is to show you advertising that is of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you and to achieve a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.
The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie, which also includes your IP address, is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.
When using Google Ads, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.
Details on the processing triggered by Google Ads conversion tracking and on how Google handles data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
All of the processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies to read information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
You can also permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads conversion tracking by downloading and installing the Google browser plug-in available at the following link:
https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155656?hl=de
In order to address users whose data we have received in the context of business or business-like relationships with advertising that is even more relevant to their interests, we use a customer matching function within Google Ads. For this purpose, we transmit one or more files with aggregated customer data (above all email addresses and phone numbers) electronically to Google. Google does not gain access to plain-text data, but automatically encrypts the information in the customer files during the transmission process using a special algorithm. The encrypted information can then only be used by Google to match it to existing Google accounts set up by the data subjects. This enables personalized advertising to be delivered across all Google services linked to the respective Google account.
Customer data is only transmitted to Google if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future by notifying us. Further information on Google's data protection measures with regard to the customer matching function can be found here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6334160?hl=de&ref_topic=10550182

11.3 Google Marketing Platform
This website uses the online marketing tool Google Marketing Platform of the operator Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("GMP").
GMP uses cookies to serve ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are served in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed multiple times. In addition, GMP can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a GMP ad and later visits the advertiser's website using the same browser and buys something there. According to Google, GMP cookies do not contain any personal information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google's server.
We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you as follows according to our level of knowledge: By integrating GMP, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out and store your IP address. When using GMP, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

11.4 TikTok Pixel
This website uses the conversion tracking technology of the following provider: TikTok Technology Limited, 10 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, D02 T380, Ireland
If you reached our website from an advertisement on the provider's domain, the success of the advertisement can be tracked using cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, pings or HTTP requests).
For this purpose, certain device and browser information, possibly including your IP address, is read out via the tracking technology in order to record and evaluate user actions predefined by us (e.g., completed transactions, leads, searches on the website, product page views). This makes it possible to create statistics on user behavior on our website after being redirected from an advertisement, which we use to optimize our offering.
We are jointly responsible with TikTok (Art. 26 GDPR) for the collection of data via the "TikTok Pixel" and its transmission to TikTok. For this purpose, we have concluded a joint controllership agreement with TikTok, the content of which you can view at https://ads.tiktok.com/i18n/official/policy/jurisdiction-specific-terms.
For the analysis of the data, its assignment to predefined events and the creation of measurement and analysis reports, however, TikTok acts as our processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR and is obligated by a data processing agreement to protect the data of our website visitors and customers.
12) Website Functionalities
12.1 Google Translate
This website uses the translation service "Google Translate" of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google") via an API integration. So that the translation is displayed automatically after you select a language, the browser you use connects to Google's servers. In doing so, certain browser information, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google.
Google may use so-called "cookies", i.e., small text files that are stored on your device, to save language settings. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is usually transferred to a Google server and stored there.
The processing described above may also involve a transfer to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.
If cookies are also set when using Google Translate, the processing described above is only carried out if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
If no cookies are set, processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our offering and a wide-reaching design of our website.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Further information on Google's privacy policy can be found here: https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/
12.2 Google Customer Reviews (formerly Google Trusted Stores program)
We work with Google as part of the "Google Customer Reviews" program. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). This program gives us the opportunity to obtain customer reviews from users of our website. After you have used our services, you will be asked on our website whether you would like to take part in an email survey by Google.
If you give your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, we transmit your email address to Google. You will receive an email from Google Customer Reviews asking you to rate your purchase experience on our website. The rating you submit is then combined with our other ratings and displayed in our Google Customer Reviews badge and in our Merchant Center dashboard. Your rating is also used for Google Seller Ratings. When using Google Customer Reviews, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.
You can revoke your consent at any time by sending a message to the controller responsible for data processing or to Google.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

Through the use of the tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user gives the corresponding consent by ticking the boxes. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the user's device if consent has been given.
The tool sets technically necessary cookies to save your cookie preferences. As a rule, no personal user data is processed in this process.
If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is processed for the purpose of storing, assigning or logging cookie settings, this is done in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our website.
